M Lennon & Co. Ltd was founded in 1964 by our present Chairman, Matthew Lennon, as a general contracting, demolition, civil engineering, and plant hire business operating out of our North London headquarters — where we remain based today.
In 1977, Oakwood Plant Limited was established to take on the group's expanding plant hire, demolition, and civil engineering operations, giving each part of the business the focus it needed to grow. M Lennon & Co. Ltd has continued independently ever since, focused on general contracting and residential development across North London.
Since 1977, Oakwood Plant Group has grown steadily in both scale and capability — adding skip hire, a licensed waste transfer station, specialist carpet recycling, and medical waste incineration to its core demolition and plant operations.
